1. Live CHO cell

Fully hydrated Chinese hamster ovarian cellin its native culturing condition (without fixation and without staining) asseen with WETSEMTM Technology. Electron dense material, nuclei and somecytoplasmic structures are brighter while less dense material, lipid droplets,are dark.

2. Lipid accumulation in 3T3-L1preadipocytes

With WETSEMTM technology, many lipidstructures are visualized without any enhancement. Differentiating 3T3-L1 cellswere fixed with 1.5% GA and imaged unstained at following times;

Left: day 0 (undifferentiated cells)

Middle: day 3

Right: day 6. Black spheres are accumulatdlipids in droplets.
