The QX-102 Capsules are used for imagingvarious wet materials and biological samples such as food, cosmetics, oils,paints, particles in solutions, adherent and non-adherent cells, andmicroorganisms. Materials of various consistencies such as foams, gels, creamsand emulsions can be easily viewed using the QX-102 Capsule. The samples can bevisualized either directly or by following appropriate contrast enhancementstaining or labeling procedures. The capsule serves as a cell culture dish,specifically designed for the SEM. No coating or embedding of the sample arerequired, enabling electron microscopy imaging with easy sample preparationcomparable to light microscopy.
MP-10 Multi-well Plate
The Multi-well Plate is designed to enableparallel handling of multiple QX-102 Capsules. It serves as a well plate forholding the capsules during various manipulations, for culturing cells inQX-102 Capsules, and for inspection in an inverted light microscope. TheMulti-well Plate is specially designed to maintain humidity of the samplesduring incubation, and is compatible with standard laboratory equipment.

MA-4 Multi-well Aspirator
The Multi-well Aspirator system is designedto safely and conveniently aspirate liquids from the QX-102 capsules, and isrequired for applications that need liquid exchange in capsules during samplepreparation or cell culturing. The aspirator drains liquids simultaneously fromup to four capsules placed in a row in the MP-10 Multi-well Plate. TheMulti-well aspirator connects to any standard vaccum source.
AT-60 Aspirator Tips
The QX Aspirator Tips are used to safelyand conveniently aspirate liquids from an individual QX-102 capsule with apipette. The tips fit on any standard pipette, and are designed to ensure safeliquid removal. In cases where multiple capsules will be used or multipleliquid exchanges are required, it is recommended to use the MA-4 Multi-wellAspirator, which drains liquids simultaneously from multiple capsules.

IB-64 Imaging Buffer
QX Imaging Buffer is a solution optimizedfor imaging samples in an SEM with QX-102 capsules and is formulated tominimize damage to the samples by the electron beam. It is applied on samplesin the QX-102 capsules prior to SEM imaging.

RT-56 Calibration Capsule
The QX-102 Calibration Capsule is a QX-102Capsule that has been specially designed to assist first time users in findingoptimal imaging conditions for WETSEM imaging in their SEM. The CalibrationCapsule contains nanoparticles of two different sizes; 40 and 500 nm. Theparticles are easily visualized in an SEM and provide a convenient means tocalibrate the parameters for optimal wet imaging conditions.
PI-24 Particle ImagingKit
The Particle Imaging Kit contains all thenecessary components for imaging particles which are negatively or positivelycharged. The kit includes suitable chemicals required to pretreat the QX-102Capsule, and the QX Aspirator Tips needed for liquid removal.
PT-20 PTA Staining Kit
The PTA Staining Kit provides the WETSEM?Technology User with all the tools and reagents required to fix and stainsamples with Phosphotungstic Acid (PTA) in the QX-102 capsule, including the QXAspirator Tips needed for liquid removal.
